Drobo and Network Attached Storage (NAS)
Drew brings in several of his Drobo Storage Solutions and NAS drives.
Drew’s Update:
There is no reason to use Solid State drives in a drobo unless you really are going to put ALL solid state drives in it. It will really increase throughput because right now the bottleneck is the drives themselves. The Drobo has a quad core processor and it is twice as fast (the processor) as the Thunderbolt 2 Drobo.
